Description:

High school is a time of great transitions. Whether starting a new school or a new grade, the social and academic demands grow exponentially each year. Through direct teaching, visual strategies, and fun age appropriate activities, our one week intensive high school transitions camp will cover the following topics:

• Transitions to a new school or new grade

• Making new friendship connections and strengthening existing friendships

• Hanging out

• How to smoothly navigate social groups and cliques

• Exploring the hidden social rules of high school

• Effectively reading social cues

• Dating

• Use of social media and technology

Ages: Coed, entering 9th-12th grade

Dates and times: Aug 1-5 10am-1pm
